Caroline Tierney
Caroline is the owner and most senior accountant at Hearth Accounting, bringing close to 30 years of experience across financial services and taxation. Since establishing the business in 2020, she has focused on creating a more personal, boutique style of accounting service, built around long-term relationships and consistent, one-on-one support.
She works closely with individuals and small businesses across a range of areas including tax, compliance and business structures, with experience across a number of specialised industries. Caroline takes a practical, down-to-earth approach, ensuring that clients not only meet their obligations but also feel confident in their financial decisions.
Caroline has a Bachelors Degree in Economics, is a Registered Tax Agent, Certified Xero Partner and ASIC Registered Agent, as well as an IPA. She is also a Commissioner for Declarations, reflecting her commitment to professional standards and ongoing development.
Her approach is highly personal, with a strong focus on face-to-face relationships wherever possible. No project is too small or too complex, and she is committed to supporting clients at every stage. Clients value her consistency, honesty and long-term support.
Outside of work, Caroline enjoys swimming, musical theatre and travel. She is a co-founder and director of the PPK Foundation and is also involved with Aussie Wildlife, reflecting her ongoing commitment to community and not-for-profit initiatives. She values spending time with friends and staying connected to her community.
Dianne Saward
Dianne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and brings over 30 years of experience in the banking and finance industry.
During her career, she worked at National Australia Bank, where she progressed to the role of Bank Manager. In this position, she was responsible for managing client portfolios, supporting lending decisions, and building strong, long-term customer relationships based on trust and reliability.
Following her time at NAB, Dianne stepped away from corporate banking to raise her family and manage the finances of her own business. This experience gives her a strong understanding of both personal and small business financial realities.
She is currently working as a Finance Officer in the aged care sector, where she continues to apply her financial expertise in a highly structured, compliance-focused environment.
Dianne brings a unique combination of financial insight and people-focused understanding. Her background in psychology supports her ability to communicate clearly and build genuine connections with clients.


Katherine Colman
Katherine holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from Monash University and has over 40 years of experience across a wide range of industries.
Her career has included roles in large scale transport and logistics organisations, where she worked as an import logistics manager and customer service agent, as well as extensive experience in small business management and retail operations.
Throughout her career, Katherine has built a reputation for delivering reliable, tailored solutions and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships. She has a practical understanding of business operations and customer needs across different sectors.
With a strong background in computing services and applications, she supports the technical side of client work with a structured and methodical approach. She is known for balancing attention to detail with practical insight, ensuring accuracy while keeping outcomes relevant and achievable.
Outside of work, Katherine enjoys travelling both locally and internationally, spending time with family and friends, and pursuing her interest in photography.
